Lilly

Lilly came into care with a very timid but reactive personality. With some coaxing and patience she has come out her shell and vies for attention from volunteers and visitors. She probably would do best in a home with adults who understand and respects her boundaries. She does tend to put you in your place if your invade her space without her permission. She LOVES her perch and bed, which will go with her.

Myles

Myles was taken to a local veterinarian by a passerby who watched him get hit by a car. Miraculousy, once vetted, including xrays and physical, there was nothing wrong but a broken tooth. Myles recouperated at SimcoeDHumane, acting cute and cuddly, mischievous and adorable.
He is very rambunctious and loves to explore his surroundings, always getting into nooks and crannies. He is super affectionate, he would be a great cuddle buddy while you watch tv or even as you're going to sleep! Myles would do well with another cat after a slow introduction!

QuarryDotty

QuarryDotty did get adopted as a puppy but her owner has some health issues that he found overwhelming with a large puppy. She needs large open space to run, and he could not run with her
QuarryDotty is a smart girl, needs to keep busy and LOVES to work! She has had some training but she will need more, especially as she grows.
She has several behavior problems, which she demonstrates, one being her prey drive especially with chickens. She does learn easily, but a dog like this needs a younger person or family who could work with Dotty, run and play with her, and take her for professional training.
She will be very successful and will make a wonderful pet.

Lunatomiti

Lunatomiti was adopted as a youngster but has found his way back to the shelter due to his active behaviour and the owners limited time to help him. He has been in one of our foster homes with experience in training their pups and has proven to be a quick study. He has lots to do and other animals to play with so at the end of the day he loves to cuddle and rest.

Transferred from Animal Services, this beautiful girl is timid and shy but soon comes around when some attention is given to her.
While in our care, she has been vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, spayed and FIV/Felv/Heartworm tested.
Sasari did test positive for FIV but otherwise, she is very healthy. FIV +ve cats may live a very long and healthy life, however, you and your vet should keep an extra close eye on her health. FIV +ve cats should live alone or with others who are the same.
Please open your heart and home to Sasari or another FIV +ve animal in the care of SimcoeDHumane.

This Handsome Brown Tabby just couldn't resist checking out a neighbourhood porch. Other stray cats liked the front porch BUT Topaz needed to be different and hang out on the back porch, always willing to show off his beautiful coat and precious personality.
His purrs are as huge as his BIG heart and he will make anyone enjoy the audio while he sits on your lap.
