Handel's Messiah (Aylmer)
Arcady invites audiences to their Handel's Messiah in support of Kids and Company on Friday, December 5th at 7:30 PM at St. Paul's United Church in Aylmer, ON. Experience the beloved holiday work in Arcady's unique Baroque style that pays homage to the original production. Audiences will have the chance to see Arcady's professional chorus of soloists and chamber ensemble once more bring to life this Christmas tradition. Known for his dynamic, energetic interpretation of this triumphant work, Ronald Beckett will direct his ensemble in a jubilant rendition of the timeless oratorio. Don't miss your chance to hear the ensemble that specializes in Messiah. Audience members should secure their seats early as Arcady's Messiah is a usually sold-out event. Sunday November 9th from 3 to 5 pm. Christine Smith will be teaching a plant-based cooking class. It will be focused on a Fall Recipe Theme with 9 Recipes. Dishes will include, Vegetable Barley Soup, Gluten BBQ with sauce, Vegetarian Meatballs and Pumpkin Cheesecake for dessert, just to name a few! Cost is $20 per person which will include a recipe booklet and tasting the recipes made that evening.
