Lisa Beckett is very proud to announce that her daughter, Dr. Kerri Scherbinsky, has earned a PhD from the University of British Columbia in Reproductive and Developmental Sciences for her doctoral thesis titled "Sulfur Amino Acid Requirements in Early and Late Stages of Healthy Human Pregnancy".
Dr. Scherbinsky graduated from Glendale High School in 2012 and received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Gerontology from the University of Waterloo in 2019.
She is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto investigating ways to reduce cardiovascular disease risk in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment.
